Looking for the perfect handmade sweet to give this Valentine’s Day? Our dipped berries are to die for, but if you would rather make your own, it’s easy to customize with drizzled chocolate, nuts, or other sweets you like. Here’s how:

 

Melt chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring every 30 seconds. Dip strawberries 2/3 of the way into chocolate and place onto a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper. Refrigerate immediately. Later, you can embellish strawberries by drizzling alternating types of chocolate over the top, or by rolling in coconut or finely chopped nuts. Bring strawberries to room temperature before serving. Should be eaten within one day (which shouldn’t be a problem).

• Large strawberries, rinsed and dried completely
• High quality dipping chocolate (found at specialty food stores)
• Parchment Paper
