What's Happening

ARE YOU YOUNG AT ART?

We are accepting your dinosaur themed artwork for a Best of Museum Memories Children’s Art Show that will be held July 5-July 31, 2010 in the Museum’s Children’s Art Gallery. Artwork must be submitted on 8.5x 11 paper and be themed to the Museum of Ancient Life. Any and all of the exhibits in the Museum can be your inspiration!

HOW BIG CAN A PTEROSAUR GET?

Check out the Quetzalcoatlus flying the in the lobby and you will see. Help us create one made entirely out of mini origami pterosaurs. We need 2,420 to create one this size! Be a part of the fun beginning March 13th. Take home instructions will be available at the front desk and origami classes will be taught for those interested in learning. (call 801.768.5030 for class dates) Make one, make a few, just be sure to bring them back to the Museum before July 1st and they will become a part of our Quetzalcoatlus that will be on display for our 10 year Birthday Party!
